Design*Sponge always has great sneak peaks of cool interiors on her blog, but today’s was heartstoppingly awesome. Below is a picture of a workspace at The Wonderfactory, a brand experience company. Click on this link to see more! (Don’t you wish you worked there?!)

This is my favorite scene from a Christmas special!
It’s from a Rankin & Bass special entitled “The Year Without a Santa Claus.
On Friday, December 5 at 8 in the morning I will be co-hosting a likemind event at Escape Java Joint on Willy Street in Madison.
Likemind is a way for creative professionals to meet each other and exchange ideas. It is basically networking for people who hate networking, as you can read in its profile in the New York Times.
I hope to see you there!
That kind of sums up this time of year, doesn’t it?

If you are feeling crafty, Creature Comforts has a wonderful post about making your own wrapping paper with a secret ingredient. Head on over there for the tutorial.
Also, this link to a food timeline is fascinating.(Thanks Lena!)
And, my lovely friend Rachel sent me a link to an extra special panettone today…isn’t it cute? Follow the link for more colors!

Check out their sweet Alex Katz on the wall. How awesome is that!

I have to try a princess cake! Maybe next time I go out to Seattle, I’ll make my brother take me to Ballard to hunt one down! Also, Cake Spy (going into my feed reader immediately) has an interesting article about why the princess cake is a delicate shade of green. (via a really great post over at not martha)
Cake Spy also has a guest post over at Cupcakes Take the Cake about the best places in Seattle to get cupcakes. I had some really wonderful ones at All City Coffee. (As a matter of fact, I ate a cupcake for breakfast every day I was there!)
The Brown Butter Shorties at Smitten Kitchen made my mouth water. I think I have all the ingredients in the house too…
Also, Theresa Honeywell’s motorcycle cozy caught my eye. I’m so far behind on my holiday knitting, I don’t know when I’ll catch up, but my next project is going to be a knitted steering wheel cover! (via Jezebel)
And if you’re looking for wonder xmas gifts, Design Sponge is the place to start. Today Grace posted a roundup of fantastic gifts for under $25 as well as a link to lovely (and inexpensive) Julia Rothman prints.
